Prayer stools.com is part of a ministry dedicated to helping people develop their inner lives and thereby find stillness and peace. I started making prayers stools just over four years ago after seeing them used in my local Buddhist centre.

My stools are lovingly handcrafted from solid oak, angled for comfort so that the back is kept straight during prayer and the body is supported by the stool rather than the knees.

Often I am able to use timber from our own woodland, but any oak I buy is from fully certifiable FSC sources. I don’t keep any stools in stock so each one I make is unique.
